The Green Heron Alehouse opened in 2013 as the Green Heron Club. We changed the name shortly after to better reflect what it is that we do. We are the first and only Alehouse in Stokes County and the favorite place for many hikers, mountain bikers, paddlers, road bikes, and sports car clubs to cap off their adventure with a cold one from one of our 20 taps of: ales, beers, cider, wine selection from Acrobat wines. Come on by and give them a try. We have a great domestic brew line up as well... and great tales of the day's events.

We are located just 2 miles from the front gate of Hanging Rock State Park and directly on the Dan River.

Located in Westfield, NC We are a family run craft brewery. We brew and distribute artisan ales to local restaurants and bars.

We use stainless steel to ferment and age our white and Rosé wines. Our red wines are aged in a combination of American, French and sometimes Hungarian oak. However, our Pilot Fog offering, made of Cynthiana grapes is barrel aged exclusively in 100% new American Oak. JOLO has become one of North Carolina’s most acclaimed vineyards, producing some of the most highly rated wines on the East Coast.

Located in foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Mount Airy, NC, our 32 acre property sits at an elevation of 1300 feet in the Yadkin Valley AVA. From our 12 acres of vineyards with primarily French and Italian grape varieties, we craft high quality red and white wines that truly express our unique micro-climate. We produce both dry and sweeter wines, as well as our own cider and beer.

Started in 2007 by Michael and Patricia West and joined by friends Leslie Messick and Paul Baumbach in 2019 the vineyard, tasting room, and llama farm are nestled on 91 serene acres of rolling hills in the Yadkin Valley Appellation in North Carolina. Nationally recognized for a wide variety of award winning wines, beautiful scenery, the largest llama farm in the Southeast, and a unique and memorable experience.
